Arrival of Ana Carolina Acevedo DDS-PhD from the University of Brazilia
We are pleased to announce the arrival of Ana Carolina Acevedo DDS-PhD from the University of Brazilia as an Associate Professor at the University of Paris’ Odontology Department.
AC Acevedo, Doctor of Dental Surgery (Venezuela), is known to many of you having completed her PhD in fundamental biology at the time of Michel Goldberg in the laboratory of Catherine Chaussain in Montrouge. She is a full professor in the Department of Dentistry of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Brasilia (Brazil). Her theme is dental and oral genetics which she has structured based on translational research in an approach very similar to that of our FHU. She directs the Oral Histopathology Laboratory and coordinates the Center for Oral Diagnosis and Care for Rare Diseases at the University Hospital of Brasilia. She has been collaborating for several years with our UFR: Hélène Chardin (salivary microfluidics), Renata Kozyraki, Muriel de la Dure-Molla, Dominique Hotton (molecular pathways of the enamel-kidney syndrome, functional genomics of syndromic and non-syndromic dentinogenesis imperfecta – COFECUB contracts), IHU Imagine (Valérie Cormier-Daire).and the FHU’s coordinators
